Rick and Pete flew lifesaving MEDEVAC missions throughout the Iraqi desert. They also shared a common goal; to boost morale and provide respite from the daily grinds of war. Their vision, "Original Java", became an oasis in the desert, an espresso cigar bar serving coffee, frozen smoothies, and a much-needed dose of sanity. Now back stateside, "OJ" has evolved into an e-commerce coffee shop adorned with "Project Dustoff". "OJ" is a small family-owned & operated e-commerce business offering superior gourmet, organic, fair trade coffees and teas.

Our company is founded on values derived from our background as soldiers...honor, integrity, and selfless service. We believe our customers deserve a community-oriented, environmentally and socially responsible product aimed at serving your conscience as well as your palate. Our plan is to become a national brand recognized not only for exceptional beverages, but also for "Project Dustoff", "OJ's" lifeline of support to wounded service members and their families. Our Original Java promise is to be a private provider of USDA certified Organic and Fair Trade coffees, teas, and baked goods. Our commitments to embrace eco-friendly practices are transparent throughout our business.

Original Java presents clothing products made of soft organic cotton, hemp, and silky bamboo. Materials made from recycled plastic bottles transform into ultra-soft shirts, fleece and totes. Both our administrative and shipping offices utilize recycled paper, cardboard shipping and packaging materials.
